Professor Ampu Harikrishnan holds a Ph.D. degree in Management Studies from the prestigious Bharathiar University Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and is currently Professor & Registrar of Jigyasa University (Formerly Himgiri Zee University)
Professor Ampu is an alumnus of PSNA College of Engineering & Technology Dindigul - one of the oldest institutions in the State of Tamil Nadu.
Professor Ampu has also served in both academic and administrative role in various leading State Private Universities all over India. He has served in higher education institutions in Kerala, Rajasthan,Himachal Pradesh & Manipur before Uttarakhand
Professor Ampu specializes in Human Resource Management & has also research interest’s in hospitality & tourism management.
Professor Ampu is an Accredited Management Teacher (AMT) by All India Management Association (AIMA) New Delhi.
Professor Ampu is a visiting faculty for some of the leading Universities in Bangladesh & Ukraine namely Northern University Bangladesh, National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine & National Aviation University of Ukraine.
